The Nigeria youth empowerment scheme (N-power) has disclosed seven (7) reasons why many applicants will be disqualified. And we at Nyscinfo.com are here to communicate that to you.
Recall that N-power was established in 2016 by Federal Government under the leadership of Muhammadu Buhari, which its primary aim is to fight unemployment in Nigeria. And for the past two years, the scheme has successfully employed over 500,000 Nigerian youths.
Due to high number of unemployed youths in the country, over three million (5,000,000) people applied for N-power 2020 Batch ‘C’ recruitment, but just only 500,000 people are needed. This implies that over 4.5million people that applied for Npower will not be considered for recruitment into the programme. No let’s show you why many applicants will be disqualified.
Reasons why many Npower applicants will be disqualified
Below are why many applicants will be disqualified for N-power Batch ‘C’ recruitment:
- Not within the N-power age bracket (18 – 35) years: Npower program is for Nigerian youths between the age of 18 and 35 years. Therefore, if the age of an applicant is below 18 or above 35, it is automatic disqualification.
-
Already Working: Applicants that are civil servants, or working in any other organization will be disqualified.
-
Inconsistent BVN details: If the applicants BVN details do not match with details on their credentials which they submitted to Npower is also automatic disqualification.
-
Multiple registrations: All the applicants that submitted more than one application will not be selected.
-
Former N-power Beneficiaries: Those who have been N-power beneficiaries, but they re-registered will be disqualified.
-
Failed Npower Test: All those who failed or who will fail N-power assessment test will be disqualified. See secrets of passng Npower test. You can also download N-power past questions and answers for practice.
-
Failure to update their records: All N-Power batch c applicants are expected to update their records on NASIMS portal. Failure to do that is tantamount to disqualification.
Finally, all applicants are to provide the following details and credentials before their submission would be successful:
- Government issued ID card (National ID Card or Permanent voters card)
- Passport photographs
- Place of Birth
- Date of Birth(DOB)
- Email address
- Phone number
