The Management of Abia State University Uturu (ABSU) has released the schedule for the post utme screening into it’s degree programme for the 2020/2021 academic session.
In a statement signed by the Registrar of the school Mr.Acho Elendu, the statement confirmed that the test is expected to Commence Monday next week.
The release stated that only candidates who chose the school as first or second choice university in their UTME University choice and those who did not chose the school but want to change to the school via the JAMB platform are qualified for the screening.
Also, Candidate who scored 160marks and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and possesses at least five O’level passes in accordance to the University entry requirements are qualified for the examination.
The statement further said that all Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to with individuals without nose marks not being allowed to take the Examinations.
The schedule for the screening schedule is as follows;
- Day 1: Monday 18 January 2021
Medicine and Surgery, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Science, Anatomy, Physiology, Public Health, Optometry and Pharmacy. - Day 2: Tuesday 19 January 2021
Law, Agricultural Science, Biological science, Physical Science, Engineering, Environmental Studies. - Day 3: Wednesday 20th January 2021
Business Administration, Social Science, Humanities and Education.
The examination is expected to be held at the Uturu campus of the school with the exemption of the faculties of Law and Agriculture to be held at the Umuahia campus.
