Best Android Launchers For Mobile Phone 2021

On Android, the launcher is how we arrange, organize, and interact with our apps. The majority of launchers provide a number of home screens on which we may organize app shortcuts and widgets while the remainder of our programs are stored in an app drawer. Every phone, from the nicest Android phones to the most basic budget phones, comes with a launcher.

Some built-in launchers are excellent, but when they drop the ball, there are a plethora of third-party launchers that will not only pick it up but also knock it out of the park.

Best Android Launchers For Mobile Phone 2021

Everyone has their ideal launcher, but if you haven’t found yours yet, here are the finest Android launchers that we’ve used and loved for years at Android Central.

1. Smart Launcher

Smart Launcher has been around for a long time, but with Smart Launcher 5, it truly took things to the next level. The home screen has a grid-less widget installation method and a modular page layout, but the app drawer remains the main attraction. Smart Launcher 5 puts your apps into numerous categories automatically, and if you upgrade to Smart Launcher Pro, you can create your own custom categories and order your drawer tabs in a variety of ways, from most-used to install time to icon color.

2. Nova Launcher

Nova Launcher has been a big participant in the home screen industry for far longer than the most of us have been using Android. The explanation for this prolonged hegemony is straightforward. Nova’s combination of personalization, ease, and deception is unrivaled. Nova transforms your phone into something more Pixel-y than a Pixel and more TouchWiz-y than a Galaxy, all with ease and grace. It also allows you to create a home screen that is distinctive, stable, and solid, as basic or beautiful as you want it to be.

3. Action Launcher

Quicktheme, Quickdrawer, Quickpage, and Quickbar are the watchwords of both Action Launcher and its users. Action Launcher has made it one of the most customizable launchers on the market in order to be the quickest and best launcher for customers who want to get everything just right.

4. Microsoft Launcher

You’d imagine that if Microsoft were to release an Android launcher, it would look like Windows 10 or perhaps the previous Windows Phone appearance – but you’d be mistaken. Microsoft Launcher is not only an Android-native experience, but it’s also a high-quality, constantly updated launcher. It’s one of the few launchers outside of Nova that supports edge-to-edge widgets and subgrid placement.

The Microsoft Launcher interface consists of a clean home screen and a smart page to the left that is fed by your Microsoft account, your daily phone usage, and any Android widgets you desire to add.

5. Niagara Launcher

Niagara is a sparkly new-ish launcher that has only been around for a couple years — sure, that makes it young by launcher standards — but it already has a devoted fanbase for being a lightning-fast launcher that works well with low-memory devices. It’s also insanely easy to create themes for because there’s just one layout. You can add one or more widgets to the top of the screen, create a Quicklist of your favorite programs, and access the rest of your apps by sliding along the A-Z alphabet on the right (or left) side of the screen.

Summary

Nova was my initially my favourite, and I haven’t found anything else that works quite as well for my theme-loving setup. Once you’ve got your categories set up the way you want them, the categorical app drawer is better than one big A-Z sort, and the double-tap app shortcuts don’t interfere with gesture navigation or swiping between the app drawer and home screen screens like they do on Nova, Action, and just about every other launcher out there.
