The attention of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been drawn to the fraudulent recruitment exercise of the commission. As at current, some group of fraudsters are claiming to be in charge of recruiting personnels into the commission.
INEC has come out to deny these sets of persons who claimed to be working for the commission. To make things worst, these group of unscrupulous elements has even clone the commission’s logo, including other convincing materials which they are using to deceive the general masses in registering for the job placement.
They went on to claim that they were assigned by INEC as consultants, and as consultants they will be collecting some amount of money as application fee/levy.
For the past months, several group of fraudsters have being trying to tarnish the processes of the commission. Previously, a fake website was created and assumed to be INEC employment webpage, of which they went on to issue employment letters after collecting money from innocent Nigerians who are desperate to get a job.
All these claims are not real, they are obviously a trick that is well planned to scam unsuspecting Nigerians. As a result of this, the commission has come out to inform the general masses that they are not currently recruiting, neither did they appoint group of consultants to help the commission in recruiting workers.
The commission (INEC) is by this publication asking Nigerians to be cautious, and make proper findings before applying for any job opportunity, instead of falling cheaply for scammers.
Note: In case you are being approached by any person or group of persons claiming to be consultant of INEC, do well to inform the security agencies within you reach at that moment.
