Coronavirus: NYSC Suspends Ongoing Batch A Stream 1 Orientation Course

The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has suspended the ongoing orientation course for 2020 Batch A Stream 1 over coronavirus outbreak.

NYSC which previously said it has put all necessary measures in place to protect corps members against the deadly virus in its various orientation camps has finally suspended the exercise.

Announcing this on social media, NYSC said no corps member or camp official has contracted the virus.

“IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: SUSPENSION OF THE ON-GOING ORIENTATION COURSE

“Sequel to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic which led to the cancellation of the National Sports Festival, Management of the National Youth Service Corps Scheme wishes to announce the suspension of the ongoing Orientation course for the 2020 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 Corps Members.

“Therefore, the Corps Members shall be posted to commence their primary assignments forthwith, while they shall be invited back to the Orientation camps when the situation improves, just like it happened a few years ago when the Nation was confronted by the Ebola virus threat.

“Management wishes to state that no Corps Member or Camp Official has contracted the virus,

“Thank you.

“MANAGEMENT.”

    After my registration in the camp i were told to fill exeat form and go because am pregnant which I did along the line my Android phone developed a problem and I didn’t see the information on time that we are living on Wednesday
    I didn’t go back for my primary assignment and i can’t see it on my dashboard please what will I do

  2. Is it true that nd result I’d needed in camp? If yes, must it be the original certificate or statement of result or any of the two?.
