(Ebonyi State) King David University Scholarship For Medical Students 2022

The Ebonyi state government, in collaboration with King David University of Medical Sciences, is offering 222 students from Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) a one-year University scholarship to study various medical courses.

The Ebonyi State Government has created a world-class medical university as well as teaching hospitals and medical centers of excellence.

The Ebonyi State Government is granting a one-year scholarship to the best candidates per state in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory in the following medical courses to ensure that the institution takes off with the best of Nigerians and in the spirit of a united Nigeria.

The Ebonyi State Government would pay the above fees, except feeding, for the successful candidates for a period of one year.

Even though Ebonyi State is not included in this new Scholarship grant to the 36 States and the FCT, the Ebonyi State Government has already offered 14 of her top indigenous students scholarships for 6 years to study medicine and surgery at this university.

  • To apply for a scholarship, go to “how to apply for a scholarship.”
  • Log in by entering your phone number in the space provided.
  • Upload your passport photo, WAEC/NECO and JAMB results, and State Indigene Certificate to the web form.
  • Fill out and submit the application form.

Additional Information

  • The applicant must be a Nigerian citizen.
  • In the 2021/2022 semester, candidates must apply for admission through JAMB.
  • Evidence of ability to continue self-financing beyond the second year of school is required.
  • Within the school complex, all of the institution’s pupils must be boarding students.
  • All students, both scholarship and non-scholarship, will be responsible for their own food.
  • To enable the University to give them admission, all successful candidates would be expected to change their first choice universities to King David University of Medical Sciences (David Nweze Umahi University of Medical Sciences in JAMB Portal).

The deadline is January 23, 2022.
