The Management of Ekiti State University (EKSU) has requested that newly admitted students of the institution to resume on Monday 23rd of November 2020 for the 2019/2020 academic session.
In a statement signed by Me.Bodo Olofumuagun, the head, Directorate of Information and Corporate Affairs, he said that the students are expected to complete their registration and resume other academic activities.
The statement reads that all pre-degree, diploma and first year students of the University are expected to be on campus on Monday.
Speaking on the issue, the Vice Chancellor of the school, Professor Edward Olanepekun assured parents, guardians and the students that the school’s management has taken adequate Covid-19 protocols and prevention.
He however advised the returning students to take adequate personal covid-19 protocol by adhering to guidelines given by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and ensuring they have their face mask and use hand sanitizer at all times while on campus.
