The issue of NIN registration has been the latest happening recently, and the body in-charge of the registration NIMC has so far recorded success, as millions of Nigerians are cooperating.
The body, National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has also started the registration of NIN for foreigners living in Nigeria.
Dr Isa A. I. fondly called Pantami, made the directives of setting up the registration centre at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Abuja.
As the minister of Communications & Digital Economy, he has put all plans on ground to guide the process, as he intend to have an un-interupted, and successful registration exercise.
The enrollment which commenced on the 18th of January, 2021 has being going on smoothly so far.
The minister has also assured all Nigerians, and those living in the country not to worry about the process, as they are working endlessly to make sure everyone gets enrolled into the system database.
For the fact that the linkage of NIN is compulsory, every legal resident of the country are expected to get their registration done.
