Will the Nexit Program really kickoff in the month of August 2021, as earlier claimed? Is there any possibility for August to be the actual month for the commencement? Read through, as we deliberate on this very issue regarding the Kickoff date for the Nexit Program.
It is all over social media that the Nexit program will kick-start in August this year. This information is mostly carried (circulated) by the Npower Batches A and B beneficiaries, as they are expecting the commencement of the program. The Nexit program is an empowerment program specifically designed by CBN, for the transition of Exited Npower volunteers. With the program, applicants are to benefit from several transition packages attached to their selected option(s).
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs is yet to give a formal announcement on when the nexit loan will be disbursed, hence there is no official date.
This therefore means that August 2021 remains a rumour, and the exact date of commencement is unknown.
The advice from the Management is that applicants should be patient, as they (Management) have already concluded with disbursement arrangement.
It should also be noted that both the Prospective Npower Batch C beneficiaries, and the Exited beneficiaries can never be forgotten by the scheme.
