The Excellent Minds Initiative (EMI) is now taking entries for its 2022 essay competition from undergraduate students in West African postsecondary institutions.
The Essay Competition of the Excellent Minds Initiative (EMI) is now open for submissions – The Excellent Minds Social and Youth Empowerment Initiative is the driving force behind the competition. It’s an annual essay competition for undergraduate students at colleges and universities.
The tournament aims to promote critical thinking, harness ideas, and develop the African youth’s innate talents, abilities, gifts, and skills. The Excellent Minds Essay Competition has been held in Nigerian universities over the years. It has generated innovative and high-impact student initiatives and ideas targeted at solving Nigeria’s most critical problems since its formal launch.

Qualification Requirements
Undergraduate students from West Africa may apply; they must be enrolled in any subject at a West African higher institution.
EMI Essay Competition Interview Dates, Process, and Location
Semi-finalists on the shortlist will be notified by May 30, 2022.
Except for the grand finale, all stages will be virtual. The grand finale will take place in a real-world setting in Lagos, Nigeria.
