Frustrated Graduate Burns BSc, NYSC Certificate Over Unemployment

A Nigerian graduate, Usman Abubakar has allegedly burnt all his academic certificates over inability to secure a job after graduation.

Usman who is said to be a Katsina indigene burnt his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Discharge Certificate together with University Degree, WAEC and other Certificates.

According to a report trending online, the young graduate tore all the certificates, and then set them ablaze because he could not secure a job after graduation.

Frustration is real, however, Usman is not the first person to have done this. Recall that in 2019, a graduate also burnt all his certificates, saying school is the biggest scam in the world.

Similarly, a graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) with Second Class division (2:1) put his Certificates for sale over inability to get a job after graduation.

There is also a story of First Class graduate who blamed his school over unemployment.
