Note: The goal of the track and field MTN CHAMPS program is to identify exceptional athletes from Nigerian schools. This will act as a springboard for the upcoming superstars in athletics who will go on to rule the world stage.
The Youth (U17) and Cadet (U14) categories are only open to secondary schools for athlete registration (via mtnchamps.com/registration). This is a team-based competition where schools are allowed to register their students, not individual athletes. On the other hand, the Juniors (U20) are open to individual entries from schools, universities, clubs, states, etc., or athletes who are unattached (an open competition where athletes may choose to represent their respective teams).
