National Open University Admission: The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) was established to enable employed Nigerians study for the degree programmes while working.
The primary target of the university remains the employed who do not have the luxury of time to study in the regular Nigerian universities.
However, NOUN accepts everybody, whether you are employed or not, meaning that anybody interested in studying for a university degree can apply and be admitted, given that all entry requirements are met. Check out National Open University School Fees (Current).
NOUN Admission Requirement
Like other higher institutions in Nigeria, an applicant for entry into National Open University of Nigeria must possess five (5) credits passes (WAEC, NECO and other approved examination bodies) in relation to the course he/she wants to study in the university.
How to apply for National Open University Admission
- Visit the site www.nouonline.net

On the main Page, navigate to the Menu Bar, Click on Apply for Admission

Select either Undergraduate Programme or Postgraduate Programme. Other programme isn’t available now.

Select Faculty

Fill displayed form

Click below to view admission criteria

Click “Apply” to proceed.

Click ‘Continue’ button

Select Bank Branch as payment type

Click “Pay”

Copy and take your RRR digits to any bank branch for payment.
After payment
- Perform step 1 to 3
- Go to “Continue After Payment”
- Input distinctive ID, RRR figures and Programme
- Click “Proceed”
- Fill Form. Note: all fields marked with red star are mandatory
After filling form
- Click “Submit”
- Print Admission Letter
- Visit the closest study centre for screening
Conclusion
Once you are screened successfully at your study centre, you will be required to proceed to pay all required fees upon confirmation of your offer of admission. Not that you are expected to appear for your screening with all necessary documents.
