The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is an empowerment program setup by the federal government, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with the sole aim of tackling unemployment among Nigerian youths.
The program which is being run for a year (at most 12 months) will successfully look into the rising rate of unemployment, and underemployment among youths (young graduates) thereby providing jobs for them through initiatives of local job opportunities and its like in the society.
The 2021 application portal has being lunched by the FG of Nigeria, to accept applicants who are interested in the program.
Aim of the Program
The major aim of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme is to connect highly skilled Nigerian youths of about twenty thousand (20,000) in number, to firms (both public and Private sectors) where they can easily earn and be financially free.
Duration of The Program
The program will last for a complete 12 months (one year), with Fellows being paid on monthly basis. While the program is on, participants will be fully engaged on skills that will enhance employability, leadership competency etc.
