How to Edit Your NPower Application After Submission

Do you notice a mistake after you have submitted your N-power application, and now you wish to edit your data or correct the error? Here we will show you how to edit your Npower application after submission.

We created this post after we noticed that many Nigerians who applied for the N-Power 2020 recruitment made mistakes while filling the Npower e-form.

Any mistake or error can disqualify a candidate from taking part in Npower programme. However, if you make a mistake while entering your data, editing your application could help to put back in good shape.

How to edit your NPower application form after submission

So, now your question is, ‘how do I edit my NPower application after I’ve already submitted?

Well, that is a tough question, but we will try our best in explaining it.

Now, to shock you, the straight answers is, you cannot edit or change anything in your Npower application after you’ve clicked on the “Submit” button.

So bad, right? That is why you should be careful when filling the form. And those who are yet to apply should review their application before clicking ‘Submit’ button.

What will happen to those who made mistakes?

This may be another question going round in your mind. Luckily, the top N-power official, has addressed this issues on social media.

According to Npower official, applicant who made a mistake in his/her application might risk being disqualified from participating in the programme.

So, all those who are yet to apply should make sure they follow instructions carefully while filling application forms.

What to do if you make a mistake in your application

As at now, there is nothing to do if you make a mistake in your N-Power application in the ongoing Batch C recruitment.

All candidates who already made one mistake or the other should not submit another application as that could lead to automatic disqualification.

But if your application has mistakes, you may or may not be disqualified. So, there is a  possibility that NPower will accept candidates that have some errors, so keep your hope alive.

Other important things to know

when i registered the portal refused to accept my application because i did’nt include middle name which is not included in my name, but when i used my second as middle my regt was submitted successfully. i hope it not affect my shortlisting, since it’s only two names on my BVN and Credencials.

  4. Aliyu Bako Abdullahi

Hello my name is Aliyu Bako Abdullahi, l am N. C. E holder, lately I got the information that N. C. E and S. S. C. E should not fill under Nteach and Nhealth respectively. So I filled with Nteach instead of Agro. So please me out.thank you.

  5. My issue is this. During the first two days that the portal was opened, once you input your bvn, all your information (like bvn, date of birth and phone number) will be transferred automatically to the form and it was not clickable so that one could edit/input anything. However, my middle name was not included on the form (though included on my bvn and also in my certificates) and I tried putting it but no way. Also the phone number that appeared there was the one I lost long time ago and when tried to input my current phone number it didn’t work. Do I decided to submit it like that. Will this affect me? If yes, then should I re-register? Because the fault was not from me. Thanks

  10. GODSENT FUBARA

In the year of certificate attainment I made a mistake by inputting the year I started, and my date of birth is inconsistent with the one on my certificate.

    1. I think you will be considered. And for the date of birth, provided the one on your certificate and the one you supplied to Npower fall within 18 and 35 years, you will be considered.

  11. Edidiong Ekop

I think I mistakenly fill the place of employment, I earlier worked, but currently not working again. And they even asked of the amount of money.

    1. This alone won’t disqualify just that you will be missing vital updates and confirmations. Keep checking your dashboard and that is now the only way Npowercan reach you.

  14. Kelechi ikpeama

N-power made a mistake with my phone number which I used as password in the process of verifying my email…instead of 31 it ended with 39 how can the mistake be corrected?

    1. There is nothing you can do again. Just make sure you don’t forget your password since means of verification is inaccurate.

  15. I made a mistake with my email, I input agboolabolaji@gemail instead of agboolabolaji@gmail

    1. This alone won’t disqualify just that you will be missing vital updates and confirmations. Keep checking your dashboard and that is now the only way Npowercan reach you.

  16. What I hate about this site is they’ll ask you to come and see something and when you come they will tell you there’s nothing. God dey watch you o

  17. I think I might have provided a wrong email password. Please how costly is this mistake ?

    1. They didn’t ask for your email password. You are free to choose any password you like. So it is not even a mistake.

  18. My mistake is that i filled my Current state of resident in the residential address, instead of filling the State of where i wish to reside in if i am chosen by Npower. Any solution?
