Qualifications for applying to join the Nigerian Air Force

  • Applicants must be a Nigerian citizen.
  • Must be single.
  • Be between 17 and 22 years ( for non-tradesmen/women only).
  • 17 – 24 years (tradesmen/women) and 18 – 28 (drivers).
  • You must be certified medically fit.
  • Must have 1.68 minimum height (Male) and 1.65 (female).

Academic/professional qualifications for tradesmen/women

  • You must have either of OND, NABTEB, RN/RM or City & Guild Certificate.
  • If you have only Trade Test Certificate, you are required to a minimum of three passes in either of GCE, NECO and SSCE.
  • Tradesmen/women applicants must possess OND with a minimum of Lower Credit grade.

Academic and professional qualification for non-tradesmen/women

  • You must have a minimum of 5 credit passes including English language and Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings,
  • Must also have a school testimonial.

How to join Nigerian Airforce for tradesmen/women

1) Visit www.nigerianairforce.gov.ng

2) Fill in all the details required.

3) Print out the following documents after you must have completed the application form online:

a. Local Government Attestation form

b. Parents/Guardian consent form

c. Acknowledgment form

After, applicants are required to submit the following documents in their photocopies at the selected zonal recruitment test centre:

4) Birth Certificate/Declaration of age which must not be more than four years prior to the day of submission.

5) Educational and Trade Certificate.

6) State and Local Government of Origin forms
