KPMG Tech Innovation Competition For Africa Innovators 2022

We understand the influence that technology trailblazers like you have on the globe at KPMG Private Enterprise. We want to hear from you, whether you’re a pure technology company or one that’s tech-enabled, tech-led, or tech-driven.

We’re inviting you to compete against technology entrepreneurs from across Africa – as well as 15 other countries in the world’s most populous regions. To a panel of industry experts, you’ll pitch your inventions and discuss your growth plans.

Our goal is to assist you in achieving your goals and taking your business to the next level, regardless of where you are in the business lifecycle – from early-stage growth to getting ready to accelerate your expansion.

Criteria for Eligibility

Any technology entrepreneur with less than 5 years of experience who is registered and situated in Africa is eligible to apply. Applicants must have cutting-edge, well-proven technology, solid business models, momentum in their operations, and the ability to scale them. All entrants joining the competition on behalf of the company must be 18 years old or older and inhabitants of participating Africa. Employees and contractors of KPMG are not permitted to participate in the competition.

Selection & Criteria: A panel of industry and KPMG experts will judge each pitching competition. Six equally weighted criteria will be used to grade all applicants. The following are the requirements:

Disruption and innovation
Market potential
Customer adoption
Market traction and marketing
Long-term potential and
Pitch quality.
The decisions of the panel will be final.

Winners will immediately advance to the Global Tech Innovator final, which will be held in November during Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon.
