Information reaching us today regarding the NSIP programs is that the National Social Investment Programs’ Focal persons in Abuja met to deliberate on the current happenings.
Aside from the meeting held, they also pay a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Coordinator of the Conditional Cash Transfer program.
The new National program coordinator Hajia Halima Shehu was with the NSIP Focal persons (FP) at NCTO, Asokoro, Abuja.
From the discussions held, most of the programs which are on paused will commence fully as soon as possible.

Hopeful Results After The Meetings
The following are likely to happen;
- By the end of August 2021, the Npower Batch C program will be launched. Commencement of the school feeding program will be after the holidays.
- The GEEP 2.0 will be fully launched by the end of August, 2021.
- Four months (January to April) disbursement of the conditional cash transfer will be effected from 23rd of August to on 9th of September, 2021.
- The newly introduced component of NSIP to begin soon.
It is already known that the NSIP programs are meant for millions of Nigerians as a means of survival.
The poor, farmers, traders, artisans, graduates and nongraduates are all being touched by the NSIP programs. Even primary school pupils are disabled ones are not left out.
Hence, the concern to all Nigerians. Especially now that something good just breeze in from the Federal State Capital.
