Latest Update On P-YES Shortlisting

PYES Shortlisting

We noticed that some PYES applicants were asking how to verify their Shortlist status, therefore we decided to write this post to provide more light on the P-YES shortlisting process.

The application time for the Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (PYES) has now concluded. By now, the management should be in the midst of the shortlisting process. As a result, no applicants for the 2022 program have been successfully shortlisted.

If you go to the P-YES portal, you’ll discover that applications are no longer being accepted. If you click on the apply now option, you will be informed that the application is closed. So, if you’ve applied for the PYES, we advise you to be patient and keep monitoring the portal for updated information about shortlisting.

The P-YES program is designed to combat and eliminate young unemployment in Nigeria by producing at least 774,000 jobs through direct youth empowerment, with a goal of 1000 jobs per local government. It will enable youth to empower at least one other young in their immediate neighborhood in the shortest amount of time feasible.

According to PYES, the initiative will generate wealth among the rising youth population and ensure long-term income for target groups, so strategically reducing the epidemic of adolescent delinquency and drug abuse by empowering them to be constructively engaged.
