NECO Releases New Exam Date for 2021 Common Entrance

The National Examination Council (NECO) has released a new date for its Senior School Certificate Examination. NECO conducts two different exams: SSCE Internal, which is conducted for students at the end of their Senior Secondary, while SSCE External is conducted for candidates that have attempted Internal and have decency to make up.

Other examinations conducted by NECO are: National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) and Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

According to NECO, the 2021 national common entrance has been postponed to till June 5th 2021. The exam was previously scheduled to hold on May 29, 2021, but will now moved to June 5, one week after.

The postponment is to enable candidates who have not registered to register for the exam.

National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) is meant for students Aspiring to enter Junior Secondary School (JSS 1).

NECO disclosed that the exam registration fee is N2,500 and registration will continue until the date for the exam. NECO urged parents to download the new table from their website at neco.gov.ng.
