Nigerian Ambassador To Spain, Seriki, Is Dead

Demola Seriki, Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain, has died at the age of 63.

His children informed him of his passing on Thursday morning.

A brief announcement stated that the late ambassador passed away early that morning in Madrid, Spain, while no further information was given.
The 63-year-old politician from Lagos was also a businessman, teacher, and previous minister of defense.

The statement from the children reads: “It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude to Almighty Allah that we announce the loss of our much loved and admired patriarch, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, His Excellency, Ambassador Demola Seriki, on December 15, 2022.

“He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Madrid, Spain.”
