The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has been alerted to the “National Startup Investment Fund Program,” an investment fund program that can be accessed at (https://nationalstartupinvestmentfund.com), which purports to be run by the Federal Government and invites startups and individuals in Nigeria to apply.
NITDA hereby informs the public that, contrary to what the website claims, the Federal Government is not affiliated with this program.
Additionally, NITDA urges unaware Nigerians to only visit the official websites of governmental agencies to verify the legitimacy of any grant schemes or investment fund programs. NITDA also warns the public to avoid and refrain from disclosing personal information on this website.
