The National Population Commission (NPC) has released a new update on Ad hoc staff recruitment for the conduct of 2023 population and housing census. In the today’s update, the commission reiterated that ad hoc staff recruitment is absolutely free, and no payment is required at any stage of the recruitment processes.
The commission also revealed that there is ongoing screening of the Field Coordinators, Supervisors and Enumerators categories. The statement reads:
“This is to inform the public that the ongoing screening of the Field Coordinators, supervisors and enumerators categories of the field functionaries for the 2023 Population and Housing Census ad hoc job recruitment is absolutely free of charge. No payment of any kind is required from the ad hoc staff at all stages of the census process.
“Please, kindly report any act of extortion indicating the screening venue and State of the incident to our social media platforms or call NPC hotline 07000236787.
Our Advice for those who haven’t approved on NPC Recruitment Portal:
All the affected applicants of NPC Ad hoc Staff Recruitment should go to the National Population Commissions office at their respective local government councils. When you get there, they will ask if received a text message. If your answer is ‘no’, they will ask you to write your name and wait for a screening right there.
