Our attention has been drawn to a false information purportedly emanated from the NYSC management on payment of arrears starting from 27th April, 2020.
According to the false statement, NYSC will start paying Corps members arrears starting from 27th April, 2020.
We, hereby, categorical state that it is a false news, and never come from the NYSC Director-General.
The NYSC DG has stated severally that there is no minimum wage arrears for corps members. Reason being that Corps members’ minimum wage was approved in January 2020 and was implemented that same month. Click here to read more.
Kindly verify information from the NYSC official platforms or the State Secretariats nationwide on issues concerning Corps members.

What I worth doing is worth doing well. We appreciate the increase in minimum wage and it’s implementation but why bringing segregation among who is eligible and those that are not eligible to receive arrears???
We are all working for the progress of Nigeria either civil servants or national service.
