The beneficiaries of the Npower program are yet to receive their Stipends of about three months.
They are due to receive October, November, and December Stipends but no information has been received from the management regarding the payment.
It has come to our notice that individuals are circulating online via social media platforms, that payment is onging.
According to the rumour, the scheme is paying beneficiaries two (2) months Stipends amounting to sixty thousand naira (N60,000).
The information regarding the two (2) months payment actually went viral on the 24th of December 2021, which happens to be the eve of Christmas.
It was more than a relief to the beneficiaries, as they thought they will have money to celebrate Xmas which never came to reality.
The truth is that the two (2) months Stipends payment was not from the Npower management.
It was a rumour being circulated by some individuals, and not until the management address the issue we’ll like all beneficiary to be relaxed and anticipate a response via the appropriate channels.
They should always check their self portal and all other official pages of the scheme for reliable update.
For the fact that no payment has been made since October, others are saying these months aren’t captured in the 2021 budget.
This is yet to be confirmed by the scheme, hence, it will be better all beneficiaries remain relaxed and panic not until an official update is received.
