The project is a pan-Nigeria learning hackathon and industry seminar aimed at solving specific geographic challenges and pushing data-driven decisions in the Energy sector, with wide social and corporate implications. The event aims to create an atmosphere for local youth development and sectorial implementation in the energy industry.

Requirement for 2021 Energy Hackathon Competition
To take part in this competition, you must be:
- An undergraduate or graduate student of any Nigerian higher institution with a valid evidence
- 18 years and above, or present a written approval of your parents or guardian.
Selection Criteria for 2021 Energy Hackathon Competition
- Proven talent and expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Visualization, Database Management, Front-end development, business development, etc.
- Readiness to work as part of a group
- Verified ability to tackle comparable challenges
- Age limit of 18 is required. Minors will be required to get legal consent from their guardians.
- The awareness or knowledge of the practice by the team
