AAPF invites applications from interested young African journalists for participation in its African Arguments Pilot Fellowship 2021 for young African journalists who are under the age of 30. This year’s programme provides access to mentorship and training to freelancers based in Africa. This programme is targeted at young journalists who are interested in building the skills required for a sustainable career as a freelancer.
Eligibility Criteria
The Fellowship is accessible to freelancers who are below the age of 30 and are resident in Africa. The focus is mostly on freelance journalists who are still relatively in the beginning of their career and are enthusiastic about learning to grow, who want to challenge and be challenged, and are dedicated to working in partnership to produce original, demanding and inspiring journalism. Therefore, all African countries are eligible to take part in this programme.
Fellowship Venue
Be informed that this programme will be held online. Interested applicants are expected to have access to a smartphone, laptop and a good internet.
Award Value of African Arguments Pilot Fellowship
