The UBA Graduate Recruitment Programme 2021 is now accepting applications from young Nigerian graduates interested in pursuing a career in banking. Candidates that are interested and qualified are encouraged to apply.
About UBA Foundation
United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc is a major pan-African financial services company headquartered in Nigeria. With operations in 20 African countries and offices in three global financial centers: London, Paris, and New York, it is one of Africa’s best and most resilient banking groups. UBA has over 14 million clients worldwide and over 1,000 business offices and customer touch points.
UBA has been active in Africa since 1949, when it was known as the British and French Bank Limited (BFB). It was formed as a limited liability corporation on February 23, 1961, and it assumed BFB’s assets and liabilities. It completed one of the greatest mergers in the history of Nigeria’s capital markets when it merged with Standard Trust Bank (STB) Plc in 2005.
UBA Graduate Program’s Goals and Benefits
After finishing the intensive 6-month training program, successful UBA graduate trainees will be hired as permanent employees (classroom and on the job learning). To be a successful graduate trainee, you must be willing to unlearn, learn, and relearn; you must be interested in all elements of the Bank; and you must always exhibit behaviors that build positive connections with your coworkers.
