It also has a 2-megapixel telemacro camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view. A flicker sensor is also included in the camera module, which detects the frequency of fluorescent lights and adjusts the shutter speed and ISO accordingly, preventing banding in photos and videos. The K50front G’s camera is a 20-megapixel Sony IMX596 sensor with AI beautification for better selfies.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is based on a 4nm process and promises enhanced CPU performance as well as a nearly 52 percent jump in GPU performance over the Snapdragon 888, powers the Redmi K50G. We get up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 258GB of UFS 3.1 storage to go with the SoC.
The Redmi K50G sports a 4,700 mAh battery with 120W cable charging, which the company says can charge the phone to 100% in just 17 minutes. With one primary speaker and one tweeter on each sides, the smartphone’s sound system is also rather good, resulting in a quad-speaker setup for immersive and high-fidelity sound.
With the exception of the special Mercedes-AMG-themed cellphones, the Redmi K50G comes in three color options: Blue, Silver, and Black. The devices come in three memory configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 128GB, and 12GB + 256GB. These are 3,299 yuan ($520), 3,599 yuan ($568), and 3,899 yuan ($588) respectively.
