The start of auditions for Big Brother Titans, the upcoming season of the Big Brother series, has been confirmed by BBNaija‘s owners, Multichoice Group.
This occurs only a few days after Big Brother Naija’s seventh season, which had the theme of “Level Up,” ended.
The reality show’s producers already announced that the 2019 season will feature a new dimension in which South Africans and Nigerians will share a house.
On Thursday, Big Brother Africa published a video on its official Twitter account outlining the audition process for potential contestants.
It wrote;
‘‘One epic season! 🔥 Two heavyweights! 💪🏾 Nigeria 🇳🇬 and South Africa 🇿🇦Let’s go!!! Be part of the all-new NaijaXSouthy #BBTitans
“Owing to the success of Big Brother Mzansi and Big Brother Naija, MultiChoice will unveil a Big Brother show like no other: a ‘contest’ between housemates from Nigeria and South Africa – in one house,” Dr Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content said.
Also speaking at the MultiChoice Media Showcase event in Lagos on September 15, 2022, Ceo of Multichoice Nigeria John Ugbe defined it as a special version that is similar to a fusion of Afrobeats and Amapiano.
He added that season 8 would be “explosive” and that they wanted to examine the love-hate connection between South Africa and Nigeria.
The most interesting season of television, according to Ugbe, will begin “sometime next year,” he added.
Meanwhile, Josephina “Phyna” Otabors won the seventh season of the reality TV series Big Brother Naija.
She outperformed her competitors to win the N100 million reward.
The top two contestants in the grand final were Phyna and Bryann.
Bella, Daniella, Chichi, Adekunle, and Daniella were the other finalists.
