Please note that the Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), is the government agency that conduct recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Civil Defence (NSCDC) and Fire.
NIS Recruitment Processes / Stages
Stage 1: Application
This is the first stage of the NIS recruitment process. Application commences after CDCFIB approves it. Eligible applicants are expected to submit their applications on CDCFIB portal at cdcfib.career
Stage 2: Aptitude Test

Stage 3: Final Screening
Candidates that passed the NIS exam shall be shortlisted to attend the final screening of credentials and physical fitness and will be invited via their emails and SMS.
Stage 4: Training of Officers
Candidates who successfully passed the physical screening will be trained and recruited into the Nigeria Immigration Service as officers.
Stage 5: Payment of Salaries
