The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) is presently accepting applications from appropriately qualified individuals for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Vocational Training Program 2023, which is aimed at young Nigerian students, graduates, and out-of-school people. The Training Centers and Skill Acquisition Centers have been established to empower Lagos residents in various vocational areas or fields.
The Lagos State Government will give an initial capital of N25 billion over four years to the Fund, but it will also seek additional investment from donor partners, development agencies, business groups, and individuals.
The LSETF would promote entrepreneurship through enhancing access to capital, strengthening MSMEs’ institutional capacity, and developing policies to better the business environment in Lagos State.
