Kaduna State Farmers Dry Season NAGSAP Support Program 2023/2024

The Kaduna State Government, led by His Excellency Mal. Uba Sani, is collaborating with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to provide assistance to farmers for the 2023/2024 Dry Season Farming Activities through the National Agricultural Growth Scheme Agro-Pocket (NAGSAP) program.

The Kaduna State Agricultural Development Agency (KADA) is specifically targeting the value chains of wheat, rice, and maize crop production in the state.

They have distributed free enrollment forms for dry season farming activities and have registered wheat farmers and interested individuals at identified irrigable sites. KADA is now urging all registered farmers to quickly clear and prepare their farmlands as free seed distribution will begin soon.

Farmers who wish to participate should make sure that their farmlands are fully cleared and prepared to receive free seeds and other farm inputs at a subsidized rate of 50% of the total cost of wheat production inputs

It is important for farmers to have their own equity (50%) ready in order to collect the subsidized farm inputs at redemption centers, which will be announced at a later date.
