According to Nasims, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation is working on improving the N-power Program to effectively address unemployment. They have successfully retrieved funds that were held in different locations and will soon pay off the debts owed to the beneficiaries once the validation process is completed.
The program is currently being restructured, expanded, and transformed. Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo, the N-power National Programme Manager, mentioned that there will be an expanded program to include beneficiaries between the ages of 18 and 40. Previously, the age limit was 35.
The expanded and restructured N-power program aims to benefit 5 million individuals over the course of five years. This will be done by enrolling 1 million beneficiaries each year, both graduates and non-graduates, through the NSIPA platform.
The enhanced N-power program will introduce new initiatives in various fields such as Education, Health, Works, Agriculture, Technology, Fashion, Entertainment, and other areas related to skill development and job opportunities.
NSIPA is currently developing its portal and has informed the public to be prepared for an exciting announcement.
Very good
