During the APC Youth conference which was held on Monday 21st June 2021, the Minister of Youths and Sports Development (FMYSD), Sunday Dare encouraged the youths of the party APC to seize the opportunities created for Nigerian youths to equip themselves ahead of the future.
The conference is one of the top ever gathering of the party, with a theme: “The Future is a Decision”, where the APC Youths were opportune to have constructive discourse, as well as sharing ideology that will lead to future success.
The Minister commend the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration, which has put outstanding efforts towards empowering, encouraging, and supporting the youths with several schemes/programs such as Public Works, N-Power, NYIF, and even the ‘Not Too Young To Run Bill’. This alone has to encourage the youths of the party with an active agenda to keep the party soaring high.
He went further to let the youths know that the government is aware of what the youths need, one of which is finance to startup their businesses, build ideas, and grow their enterprises. Hence, the NYIF is there, and soon will be properly fine-tuned to serve applicants with pace and also reach out to lots of Nigerian youths when it comes to funds disbursement.
In conclusion, the Minister made it known to the youths that they are the leaders of tomorrow, but their leadership starts from today. Therefore, encouraged them to pick up the spirit from their various communities, where they are expected to prove that leadership in them.
The conference is the First of its kind, as long as the political party APC is concern.
