PIND Foundation is sponsoring this programme as part of the larger Delta State Youth Employment Program (DYEP) in response to the issue faced by the Niger Delta’s extremely high rates of unemployment and underemployment, particularly among the youth. PIND established the Delta State Youth Employment Program as part of its Economic Development Program to provide disenfranchised young people with options for long-term employment or enterprise development through technical, soft skills, and entrepreneurship training.
