FG Provides Job Through AFJP And ESP – V.P

At the event of the course 29 of the National Defence College presentation, which was held in Abuja at the presidential villa. The Vice President of the Federation Yemi Osinbajo made it known that, one way FG Provides Job is Through AFJP and ESP.

The research report presented was tagged “Creating Jobs And Opportunities for Africa Largest Youth Population” and several youth related issues were deliberated on. Read also: FMARDSPACE 2021 Fertilizer Grant Fund Is Ready

AFJP is an acronym for Agriculture for Food and Jobs Plan. It is a plan meant to increase supply of food planted locally. At the same time, creating job for the working population.

The Federal Government (FG) has been able to locate about five million (5,000,000) farmers in the country. These Farmers are seriously focus with their farm work/production.

ESP is also an acronym known as Economic Sustainability Plan. The initiative is being introduced to tackle Job-related issues, thereby increasing the rate of employment.

According to the vice president, ESP handled job creation and sustaining existing jobs. This therefore means that, the program will accommodate a larger population.

The first batch of the AFJP were recently approved to receive Fertilizer Subsidy grant, of which those without BVN were ensured they have theirs to hasten the disbursement. With this agricultural plan, they can easily access loans and other farm inputs.

Notably, with these two major initiatives, the youths will be engaged directly and indirectly with jobs. As creation of job becomes a necessity to the government, FG  provides Job through AFJP and ESP.
