Are you a Candidate of both JAMB and NABTEB Examinations? Have you confirmed if the date of writing your JAMB collides with any of your NABTEB paper? If ‘yes’ then there is no course to fear or be worried, as it has being taken care of on your behalf, however you can still make consultations from your Principal after reading through this post.
JAMB, which is an acronym for Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, is a special body setup to take charge of entrance examinations taken by Nigerians (undergraduates) who seek admission into any of the Tertiary institutions in the country. While NABTEB stands for National Business and Technical Examinations Board, which is an examination body that has similar rights/authority as NECO and WAEC in the country to issue O’level result to technical students.
Since the both examinations are taken on yearly basis, it is being observe that the 2021 JAMB UTME will start on the 19th of June 2021. Likewise, the 2021 NABTEB examination will begin on the 15th of June 2021 to 9th of July 2021.
From the scheduled dates, there is a possibility of a clash for those taken both exams, which has pulled the attention of the education minister.
Regarding the clash, the Hon. Minister of Education has requested for the submission of affected candidates information (details) by principals/proprietors to a designated email address, for rescheduling of their paper.
The required details to be sent by the schools are;
- Candidate’s Name
- School’s Name
- Location
- JAMB’s Exam Centre
- Initial Date Scheduled for JAMB UTME
The required information is expected to be sent down before 16th of June 2021 to the Registrar Chief Executive Officer via nabtebhgt@yahoo.com

Good evening sir,please my name is Monday Christian from Edo State. I lost my jamb scores (all the written scores, documents and the pin). A friend of mine were smoking and he mistakenly dropped half of the cigarette on the floor before I noticed, my room crushed into fire burnt my foam, gas, television and all my school documents. Though he was saved 🙏
So please sir how can I work on it now?
Have been able to process all my lost ND documents, now I’m in HND and about to process my Jamb because of NYSC preparation.
