It is good news for the exited Npower Volunteer as Minister flags off mobile money agents training.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Umar Farouq on Wednesday 20th of October 2021, flag off the training.
Shared Agency Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) mobile money agents training is a program introduced by FG as one of the packages for Nexit program.
The flagging off took place in Abuja and other States in North Central. Read also: Video Update of Nexit Program And Packages
The Hon. Minister discloses that FG has the poor and vulnerable citizens at heart, hence introduced the National Social Investment Program (NSIP).
Talking about the SANEF mobile money agents training, the minister made it known that it will serve as an avenue for beneficiaries to own their personal registered businesses.
As a means of tackling unemployment, beneficiaries will be registered under SANEF as Mobile money Agents.
They will be given POS machine, fingerprint scanner, a capital amounting to twenty thousand naira (N20,000) and furniture (chair and table).
SANEP was acknowledged by the minister and other stakeholders who contributed to the success story.
The chief executive officer of SANEP, Mrs. Ronke Kuye salute the Hon. Minister for her role in the successful partnership.
She made known the objectives of SANEP which are; expansion of its agents, engagement of stakeholders, awareness, and financial literacy.
A total number of one thousand eight hundred and fifty (1,850) selected youths across the Federation will be given job via this program.
The program was introduced by the current administration, led by President Muhammadu Buhari in the year 2020.
It’s part of the social inclusion agenda of the administration inline of lifting one hundred million (100,000,000) Nigerians from poverty.
This is meant to be achieved within a duration of ten (10) years. Hence, it was a privilege as the Minister Flags Off Mobile Money Agents training program.
Those who were present in the flagging off events include Dr. Umar Bindir, Mrs. Chinwendu Amba, National coordinator of Conditional Cash Transfer, and others.
