NYSC Extends Registration Date For Corp Members Who haven’t Reported To Camp

Are you a Prospective Corps Member (PCM’s) who supposed to be in camp with the 2021 Batch ‘A’ Stream 2 Corps Members, but didn’t meet up due to an unpredicted setback? If ‘yes’, then you need not to worry, as the management of the scheme has given a short grace period to enable you join the orientation camp.

The National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Management, has openly announced the extension of reporting date to camp, for prospective Corps members who are yet to show up in the 2021 Batch A Stream 2 orientation camp.

According to the management, the date has been extended to 24th of May, 2021.
Definitely, this will really put smiles on the faces of affected PCM’s as they have a better chance to join the very batch they were supposed to be part of.

Note: Any PCM in this very batch (2021 Batch ‘A’ either stream 1 or stream 2) that fails to show up in the orientation camp, will have to wait for the 2022 Batch A set of Corps members. As that is the only time they can revalidate and proceed with the compulsory one (1) year national service.

It is therefore necessary to grab this opportunity so as to avert any form of delay by one year, before answering the clarion call.
