Uche Nwosu is a native of Umunwokwe, Eziama-Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area, Imo State. He was born into the family of late Rev. Daniel Nwaobi Nwosu and Mrs. Jemimah Nwosu. He attended Shehu Sanda Kerimi Primary School, Maiduguri, and later proceeded to secondary school at the Government Secondary School, Gubia, Borno State and later transferred to Comprehensive Secondary School Eziama-Obaire, Nkwerre the place he took his Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE). He gained admission into the Imo State University, Owerri, the place where he bagged a Bachelor’s Degree (Second class upper division) in Urban and Regional Planning in 2000.
During his studentship, he was the Students Union Government (SUG) Director Of Transport because of his love for humanity and keenness on the Imo State University.

Uche was the Advocate for the engenderment of Civil Rights of Citizens, giving the widespread man a way of belonging. He started his political profession as a Special Adviser to the Governor Rochas, and was later appointed commissioner.
He also served as Chief of employees, during Rochas Okorocha regime, who is his father-in-law. On March 9 2019, Nwosu contested for the gubernatorial seat for Imo-State below the political platform of Action Alliance Party (AA). On March 11 2019, UcheNwosu lose to Emeka Ihedioha, who contested under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
