Women In Finance FINCAD Scholarship Award 2022/23

The Women in Finance Scholarship Prize, sponsored by FINCAD, is now accepting applications for the 2022 academic session. Women nationals of all nations who are enrolled full-time in a postgraduate degree at a university recognized nationally or globally in the country where the university is located are encouraged to apply.

Candidates enrolling in a post-graduate program with a focus on finance, notably related to the use of derivatives in capital markets and/or financial risk management, will be considered for the scholarship. Deep market knowledge, openness, and integrity, according to FINCAD, play a role in making financial markets safer for all participants. Applicants are advised to submit their scholarship applications before the deadline.

Criteria for Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Women in Finance FINCAD Scholarship Award:

Have you started your post-graduate Finance studies before January 1, 2022 or after February 1, 2023?

During the academic year 2022–2023, be enrolled and attending a full-time Master’s or PhD Finance program.

Have less than 10 years of overall work experience and less than 5 years of financial industry experience.

Applicants must be female nationals of any country with fewer than ten years of work experience who are pursuing a graduate degree in finance.

Applicants for master’s programs must have earned a relevant bachelor’s degree with honors from a recognized university.

Applicants for PhD programs must have completed a suitable master’s degree from a recognized university with good grades.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a finance study, especially those seeking postgraduate degrees in financial asset management, market risk management, or derivatives finance.

Applicants must show significant leadership and intellectual potential, as well as a willingness to represent the scholarship sponsor well.

How To Apply

Applicants for the Women in Finance FINCAD Scholarship Award 2022 must submit an online application by creating a username and password on the official application website. Applicants will receive a prompt to confirm that their application has been submitted when it has been successfully submitted.

The following documents must be sent in the required file format (jpg, pdf, or gif) and with the prescribed naming convention (Note: Maximum file size is 20MB). Among the documents are:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Two letters of reference for the scholarship from appropriate individuals such as professors or other relevant university staff, work supervisors and colleagues.
  • University transcript(s) from undergraduate program(s)
  • Confirmation of acceptance or enrolment in the post-graduate program for the 2022/2023 academic session.
  • Any authored papers (if any)
