If you are reading this article right now, as an African youth, note that you are reading the right post. This post is about YALDA AfCFTA Youth Creative Competition 2021, a competition that aims to improve African youth awareness of AfCFTA tools and how African youth can push the AfCFTA agenda from their viewpoint.
YALDA, in collaboration with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, the African Export-Import Bank (Afrexim Bank), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the International Trade Centre (ITC), and the United Nations Development Programme, invites all African youth, as well as youth from other parts of the world, to participate in a forum on leadership and development.
Those who believe they can make a difference in the education of young people about the African Continental Free Trade Area are encouraged to enter the essay, infographic, and animation contests (AfCFTA). They are seeking for material that you have developed that informs and educates young people about the AfCFTA and its enormous benefits for Africa’s teeming youth population.
