The Ministry disclosed this on its officiaI Twitter handle on Friday. They also urged applicants that are having challenges accessing their information to leverage on necessary mechanisms put in place to address such issues.

The Statement Reads:

“As a follow up update on earlier announcement on the enrolment process for the Batch C applicants for the #Npower programme, applicants should update their information on the National Social Investment Information Management System (NASIMS) platform.

“To date, this program has touched the lives of countless Nigerians and we are encouraged by the positive impact we are making as we continue with our broader vision of productively engaging our young people under the Social Investment Programmes.

“In order to access the benefits of this batch, all applicants should check their respective email addresses provided at the point of application for information on how to log in to the portal; Visit http://nasims.gov.ng to log into the applicant portal & update.

“Applicants who may have issues accessing their information should see the attached FAQ fliers for guidance,” the Ministry tweeted.

Meanwhile, some applicants expressed concerns over the delay that has characterised the Batch ‘C’ selection process.

One of the applicants, Opoka Paul, who responded to the Ministry’s Tweets, said “Are we supposed to do this update again?? We already did this and took the test. When is the shortlisting supposed to commence?”

Another Twitter user, Oyewale Bolanrinwa, wrote: “Stop using delay tactics jare. Do the needful.”

However, it can be recalled that the federal government started the selection process last year (2020) for those who wish to be employed under the N-Power Batch ‘C’ scheme. But up till now, the shortlisted candidates are yet to be called.
