Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation, in partnership with Venezuelan Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria, invites applications from interested Nigerians for the 2021 scholarship programme for undergraduates who wants to build a career in Medicine and Surgery. The scholarship aims to sponsor 50 interested and qualified Nigerian undergraduates to study Medicine in Venezuela as part of a partnership between Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation and the Embassy of Venezuela in Nigeria.
University Information
The foundation has chosen one of the top universities for this scholarship programme called Latinoamerican Medicine School–Escuela Latinoamericana De Medicina (ELAM) for the chosen students. Beneficiaries are expected to study for six years.
Funding Information
It is a fully-funded scholarship, covering tuition fees, accommodation, monthly stipends and feeding allowance for the students.
Eligibility Requirement
- Applicants must be Nigerian Citizens
- Applicants must have credit passes in NECO/WAEC with ‘A’ grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology as added advantage
- Applicants must be between agates 18-23
- Applicants must be single
- Applicants must be medically fit

- A copy of either of NECO and WAEC results
- A maximum of 200 words self-introduction letter
