According to the WAEC National Office Chairman, this year’s exam results are better than last year’s. If you participated in this year’s exam, you can check your results via SMS or by visiting the official WAEC portal.
How to Check WAEC Result via Text Message
Candidates who took the exam can check their results using their mobile phones. Follow these steps:
1. Type the following message: `WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear`. For example: WAEC*4260102002*123456789012*2024
2. Send the message to 32327 (MTN, Airtel, and GLO subscribers).
3. You will receive your result via SMS at a cost of N30.
Make sure there are no spaces in the message format.
How to Check WAEC Results Online
You can also check your WAEC result online by following these steps:
1. Visit the WAEC result checker website at https://www.waecdirect.org/
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number (7-digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number, e.g., 5123456789).
3. Enter the 4-digit Examination Year (e.g., 2024).
4. Select your Exam Type (e.g., School candidate result).
5. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number.
6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN.
7. Click on the “Submit” button and wait for the results window to appear.
