LIFT is accepting applications for the second batch of its free business training program as part of its aim to help entrepreneurs fulfill their potential and expand their businesses.
LIFT, a Softcom Limited initiative, is a six-week virtual accelerator program that gives Nigerian entrepreneurs access to specialized knowledge, personalized coaching from business experts, funding in the form of LOW-interest loans up to N2 million and grants up to N1 million, and a community to help them scale and grow their businesses.
Participants in the program will also have access to Softcom’s freshly introduced interconnected growth tools, Eyowo, Kwiksell, Useforms, and Usepass.
“Our experiences as a firm and the support we have received have taught us to turn barriers into possibilities, and we want to do the same for entrepreneurs,” Karika Yonreme, Softcom’s Vice President of Programs, said of the benefits of LIFT. Our goal at LIFT is to work with businesses all around Africa to help them take off and soar.”
Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply for LIFT’s free business training.
LIFT, which began in 2020 with over 50 entrepreneurs in its initial cohort, is now open to over 250 enterprises that will be tutored by business experts through self-paced, reflective learnings.
To be eligible for the program, applicants must work in the retail industry – food, beverages, beauty, fashion, cosmetics, electronics, and so on – have a business that has been open for at least 9 months, and have at least two employees.
The LIFT program is currently accepting applications, and interested individuals should apply online.
