If you enjoy TikTok, there’s some good news: you can now publish longer videos thanks to a new feature that lets users upload videos up to 10 minutes long.
This is notable since it is the second major adjustment since TikTok videos were increased from one to three minutes in July 2021. This transformation occurred as the social media platform grew at a breakneck pace around the globe. Because the platform shows no signs of slowing down, the firm is now raising the total duration of its movies to up to 10 minutes. This adjustment will certainly help producers submit more diversified content as well.
In a statement to The Verge, TikTok confirmed the global update.
“Today, we’re excited to start rolling out the ability to upload videos that are up to 10 minutes, which we hope would unleash even more creative possibilities for our creators around the world.”
As a result of the shift, content creators will be allowed to submit longer films for food instructions, make-up lessons, instructional material, comedy, dancing, and more. When TikTok users with the most recent app version can upload 10-minute videos, they will be notified.
