The FCT Scholarship Board welcomes applications from students who are of FCT Abuja origin for its 2021 Tertiary Institution scholarship scheme. The beneficiaries of the scholarship will be sponsored to study in chosen tertiary institutions in Nigeria and abroad. The scholarship scheme will also see students and pupils in secondary schools become part of the beneficiaries.

The Department of Mass Education, Special Needs Centres, Parents and the public are notified that FCT scholarship applications are being received for the 2021 edition of the annual scholarship scheme. Application forms have been made available at all designated locations for indigenes to get, complete, and submit for processing.

Issuance of Scholarship Application Forms

Issuing the 2021 scholarship application forms will begin on Monday, 9th August 2021 and end on Friday, 27th August 2021. Interested candidates are advised to get their scholarship application forms at Government Secondary School, No. 6, Abidjan Street, Zone 3, Wuse, Abuja. The application venue will be open from 10:00am to 3:00pm every day.

2. Amac – 11th – 12th August 2021
3. Bwari – 13th – 16th August 2021
4. Kwali – 17th –18th August 2021
5. Kuje – 19th – 20th August 2021
6. Gwagwalada – 23th – 24th August 2021

3. School fees receipt
4. Identification Card

Eligibility Criteria

Note that students in Part-Time programmes and private institutions are not qualified to apply for the scholarship. Read also about Chevening Scholarship portal 2021.

Examination Date

The date of examination for applicants is Saturday, 11th September 2021, at the same venue in the six area councils.
