FG Reveals Npower Beneficiaries Exit Package

The Minister of Finance and Budget Planning, Mrs Zainab has revealed the exit package for N-power batch A and B beneficiaries.

Mrs Zainab revealed the exit package on Monday during “Good Morning Nigeria”, a TV programme organised by National Television Authority (NTA).

According to the Minister, the outgoing N-power Batch A and B beneficiaries will be given loan of up to N300,000 from GEEP.

GEEP means Government Enterprise and Empowerment program. The scheme was created in 2015 by the Federal Government to assist Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. See how to apply for GEEP loan as Npower beneficiary.

However, the Minister added that the loan would be given to beneficiaries according to individual performance in the psychometric test.

On the issue of unpaid N-power salary, a beneficiary, Ibrahim Mustafa asked the Minister the following question on Twitter:

“Many of npower exited beneficiaries have not been paid march to April now June and July that was promised would be paid to us as we exit. Honorable minister what assurances would you give us that we would be paid by the federal government?”

Reacting on the question, the Minister stated that all beneficiaries would receive their outstanding stipends. But she did not give any particular date.
